SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
If you’ve been following along, I hope you have enjoyed the first two stages of the Essential Oil Chakra Cleanse that we began a couple of weeks ago with our SOUL ESCENTIALS™ organic product line. If you are just joining us, feel free to read from the beginning Root Chakra that we started on our social media pages and follow along on our blog. As we ascend the energy fields of our body, I’ve been able to see subtle positive shifts in my awareness and relationships with those I love. I hope that you have as well. I think it’s important to understand that when facing our true identity, we will feel resistance. In more ways than one. This is a sign that something is shifting in our lives and with love, for the better. As I learn to embrace what I’ve judged as opposing energy, I’ve been looking deeper into my reactionary state. It’s so easy to take flight, to flee when we feel opposition. We know that there is a battle ahead, but one thing we can continuously be reminded of is our sense of humility. Our being human. We forget the human error of being human.
As you live with more meaning in your life, it is common to be reminded of this sense of self or selfish self that exists in all of us. The self that needs to be reminded that ‘it’s not all about me.’ It’s a difficult place to face within our self, as it’s painful to hear about this person inside of us that wants it “my way” all of the time. But it exists in all of us. We generally want what makes us feel comfortable and secure inside. Our actions do not always reflect this. One of the things we can overlook is that our views are from a unique, personal experience. We have our own view of living that is like no one else’s. We can have tunnel vision of how we see the outcome of situations and other people’s lives based on our view of living. Our ego self may have a grandiose version of how it wants to live its life. Because of this we can forget to live fully present in the life that we’ve got right in front of us. This can cause us to chase after a life that is not meant for us and can lead to feelings of emptiness, failed relationships, and unmet goals. When we put our own desires selfishly before everyone else’s, we are allowing our ego self to rule the front position in our lives. So, how can we live with more meaning and see the best outcome for every individual? In what ways can we learn to better serve each life in our relationships?
When we can look at a whole person in our life and can see that our Creator has a unique plan and purpose for their life like our own, we open to finding endless possibilities of love, understanding and improvement in our relationships. Is it an easy road to get there? No. Having intimacy in our relationships takes work and a great deal of trust, yet it can be incredibly rewarding. When we are willing to give freedom to each person in our life to live from their own perspective, we build lasting trust and intimacy with each other. That is not to say we are meant to agree in every scenario just by accepting that everyone has their own views and choices, but it certainly sets the energy of respect and boundaries to appreciate everyone’s viewpoint and way of living.
As we look deeper and get seated in the 3rd Chakra, we are invited to see into the core of our center and how we view our world around us. This core energy of the body rules our thoughts and mental energy. It controls digestion in the pancreas, small intestines, stomach and liver. This area also controls our blood sugar and how it is processed in our body. Emotionally it is where we store our beliefs of our self and others. An imbalanced Solar Plexus can have negative symptoms of being too critical of self and others and having a strong sense of perfectionism. When experiencing a blockage, we can struggle with will power and self-control. Visually the Solar Plexus is like a house that you live in. It can have clutter that collects or be continuously maintained and decluttered. Decluttering takes work and often means a deeper sense of forgiveness and letting go of all worry and the need to control an outcome. This area is one we frequently hold onto with our thought patterns and can be rigid in our thinking. It is an important energy of the body to invite expansion, openness and flexibility. When our Solar Plexus is balanced we feel confident, powerful and accepting of ourselves and others.
On a physical level, citrus and several spice essential oils are well known tonics, and can help stimulate digestion and increase circulation in the Solar Plexus. This can help in all areas of digestive health. The adrenal and the lymphatic system benefit as well. From our SOUL ESCENTIALS™ organic product line, we recommend placing one drop of Lemon~Ginger Spice Pure Essential Oil Blend (there are two different options from our essential oil product line to choose from or choose a blend of your own that is comparable) in the palm of your hands to rub together and then cup your nose to inhale the sweet, refreshing energy of this tantalizing blend. As you breathe in the fresh, tangy notes, visualize that you are calming the internal fire in your digestive system. Focus your awareness of the need you have for self-acceptance and confidence, and honor those needs. As you lie down, in a circular motion, rub the essential oils into your upper abdomen. Meditate on the love you have with your Creator and remember that your confidence comes from this unconditional love. Allow your self-confidence to grow as you utilize your will power and self-control. Let go of your need for everything to be perfectly your way. Open to thoughts of self-acceptance and allow your relationships to flow freely. Live courageously without the need to overpower anyone with your fears and insecurities. Follow through with your plans and healthy desires. Release all need to control the outcome in any situation. You are at peace.
